Great 4k graphics

Bought to run Microsoft Flight simulator 2024. Works great, very quiet fan. Connected wireless keyboard and mouse which makes it easier to use. Sound and picture quality are excellent. Starts and shuts down quickly. Running in 4K UHD on a 42" tv and really impressed.

Flight sim is great, best I've ever seen, very smooth even flying over London.

My friend's boy absolutely loves it!!! To see his reaction when he received this as a Christmas present was pure joy!!! Wow!!! He has not stopped playing the games since December.....except to go to school of course!! Well done - a very happy 11 year old!!

Great value for money

It terms of design and build quality, I consider the Xbox Series X a better console than PS5. It doesn't come presented in cheap, embarrassing packaging either. The console is super quiet and looks nice in white (digital version). The controller is great for FPS games in particular, but lacks some of the features of the DualSense. But ergonomically, you can't fault the Xbox controller.

The games quality on Xbox are improving considerably. Indiana Jones And The Great Circle being a fantastic release. Game Pass will be the main draw for Xbox. A subscription service which is unquestionably the best value in gaming. Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 day-and-date into Game Pass being a highlight, along with Indiana Jones And S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2.

2025 looks even better, with Avowed, Fable, Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight and the next Call Of Duty all headed to Game Pass, day one.

PS5 has some good exclusives. But if you want value for money, Xbox Series X is a great buy.

My son ordered this a month before release what a machine he wanted the digital version as my daughter has the disk version and never buys and my son only downloads games so no point in disk it does everything that he wants it for and more he downloaded a game the same as a PS5 we have in the house and the graphics are so so much better he loves it then he has always had Xbox from the start yes it’s a lot of money but what ever console you buy are so each to there own he wouldn’t and didn’t want a PS5 so don’t knock a console just because you want the other make the games he wants to play are on Xbox so if you can’t get the games you want to play on it don’t buy it plus he can get all the tv channels he wants
