Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones - Black

As a college student, I get a lot of use out of headphones while walking around campus and while studying, and these are insanely good. I like studying around others, but don’t necessarily like hearing a lot of noise, but in noise cancelling mode and with music on at a low/moderate volume, I can hear NOTHING! It’s so trippy but so nice. The touch controls are great for changing volume or songs since I don’t need to take my phone out and inevitably get distracted. Great battery life as well, considering I use them for probably 3-5 hours a day. They are expensive, but if you wait for them to go on sale (like I did), it will be even more worth it. However, I still would have paid full price for them and been satisfied, but if you’re on a budget, waiting for a sale might be smarter, but they are a worthy investment since I hope they will last at least 3-4 years.

Worth every penny

I was expecting them to be a lot bigger but they're just perfect. They're compact and wonderfully lightweight and so SO comfortable. The quality is fantastic and I believe they're well worth $400 because the audio quality is just class, as well as the ANC. I absolutely love it would definitely recommend to any and everyone

these things are durable, the music quality is fantastic and gets better with eq settings, the noise cancellation is very autism friendly for sensory avoidant people such as myself especially in noisy grocery stores and with quiet gatherings with noisy family members (seriously, the ability to adjust how much noise cancelling there is is THE BEST), AND they’re durable enough that they survived me collapsing and having two seizures with them on my head.I wear them to sleep sometimes and listen to too many hours of New Bliss and Lofi Girl playlists, and they’re still good as new. They don’t get stinky. They survive me wearing them in 90° weather.I love these things, and I hope they continue to be great for several years. I forgot to get a safety plan on these bad boys, but I would willingly spend the money to get them again.Also, a full charge lasts three days and they charge super quickly. The bluetooth in the app is a little wonky if you connect to more than one device, but it’s an easy fix with some patience— I share them with my partner and it’s nice to be able to trade them back and forth. I get them out in public and during zoom meetings and when I can’t sleep, he gets them at 4am when he wants to vibe to good tunes and when he’s on a cleaning frenzy. it works out really well.

I have tried all high end noise cancellation headphones and this is by far the best.
